We’ve all heard the story where the warlock or mad scientist reaches out to the Dark, walks where None Must Tread, and brings to life something monstrous. Eventually, the pitchforks and torches come out, the Creature is destroyed, and, once again, all is right with the world.
This is not that story.
This is not another reactionary sermon. It’s not another morality play. If anything, we need less of those, not more. We need more blasphemous sorcery, though, more mad science, and, yes, more monsters. Here they are. And if the villagers drive these monsters out, the world will be far from all right.
